Meet Brad

I’m Brad Gerick, a remotely based digital strategist with expertise in content creation, social media, analytics, SEO and newsletters.

I was previously audience development director at (now-defunct) DNAinfo, where I oversaw social, search, email, analytics and partnerships. Prior to that, I was the New York Daily News director of social media, leading a team of seven. And before that, I ran social media at Patch after serving as a reporter and editor.

At Mount St. Mary’s University, I earned an MBA and a bachelor’s in journalism. I was also MVP of my Division I golf team, edited the school newspaper and was class president, among other things.

I’m also a Christian, bread baker, cookie maker and coffee snob who enjoys reading, writing and walking across town while listening to podcasts.

Newsletters

You can sign up for my professional newsletter here, or on the homepage of this site. I run it through Substack and have both a free and a paid version delving into the world of digital strategy.

I also write a monthly-ish personal newsletter that covers anything I think my family and friends might like to hear about. It’s run through MailChimp, and you can subscribe here.
